Margherita (For some reason nobody can explain, in Texas a Margherita pie *always* has fresh tomatoes on it. WTF?)
For one brief shining moment, it was Our Place in Austin. Coal-fired oven, thin crust with a bit of char on the crust if you asked real nice, a great wine list that was reasonably priced, a chef who became a friend, interesting and well-executed apps and pizzas, practically around the corner from our house. Oh, how we miss you, Pizzeria Corvina! (Chef Cody Krause rules and is still in the chef game elsewhere in town.)
